The SFVRS meets on the second Saturday of the month at the Robert M. Wilkinson MPC, 10 am to noon. The Wilkinson Multipurpose Center is at 8956 Vanalden Ave., Northridge, CA 91324. [Map]
OUR MEETINGS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, ALL ARE WELCOME. MEMBERSHIP IN OUR SOCIETY HELPS US TO SUPPORT AND PROMOTE “THE LOVE OF THE ROSE.”

January, 2019 – Pruning, various times and places.
February, 2019 – Our guest speaker was Steve Gerischer with Larkspur Garden Design. An excellent speaker, Steve discussed Landscape and Garden Design.
March, 2019 – Our guest speaker was Lynne Godin educating us about Monarch Butterflies, ‘This is a Monarchy’ was the title of Lynne’s presentation.
April 13, 2019 – The SFVRS toured The Huntington Library Rose Garden with curator Tom Carruth. This was a members and guests only event.
May 11, 2019 – Our guest speaker was Yvonne Savio with the L.A. Arboretum. Yvonne speaking about Organic Gardening in LA.
June 8, 2019 – Scott Klittich, owner of Otto & Sons Nursery, in Filmore. Scott spoke “All About Roses.”
July and August – no meetings.
September 14, 2019 – Suzanne Horn discussed and shared pictures of David Austin Roses. Suzanne grows a large number of David Austin Roses, and all in containers!
December 14, 2019 – SFVRS Holiday Party, Gift Exchange, and Installation of Board Officers, this is a potluck.
