May 14, 2022 – Kyra, with Rincon Vitova, a well known insectary, will discuss beneficial bugs as natural predators to harmful insects. The meeting place is the Robert M. Wilkinson Senior Center, 8956 Vanalden Avenue, Northridge, CA.
The public is welcome. We will be meeting inside the facility, and masks and proof of covid vaccinations is required. The meeting begins at 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.
June 11, 2022 – Richard Armerding, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited, will give a presentation about “Wild Birds in the Garden.” This meeting will be held at the Robert M. Wilkinson Senior Center, 8956 Vanalden Avenue, Northridge, CA.
This meeting is open to the public. All attending must wear a mask and show proof of covid vaccinations, a city requirement. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am and end at 12:00 noon.
July and August, 2022 – No meeting scheduled
September 10th, 2022 – Dawn Cotterell, with the City of Los Angeles, will present “ Water Wise,” ways to conserve water in our gardens given the drought emergency. This meeting will be held at the Robert M. Wilkinson Senior Center, 8956 Vanalden Avenue, Northridge, CA. This meeting is open to the public.

**As a reminder, our meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month excluding July and August, between the hours of 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. There may be date and time changes for special events and parties.
We follow the City of Los Angeles requirements for COVID19, all attending must wear a mask and show proof of COVID vaccinations. Future changes/ updates will be posted to this page.
Our society is planning a “Garden Tour” of several member’s gardens, Saturday, May 7th, this is a members’ only tour, details to be announced.
