| Above are sunless clouds presenting a threatening-sky; Below is a brilliant display of colorful sparkling show-roses. Anticipation is high awaiting the rose-judges’ verdicts, while hunger mounts for when the potluck food can be attacked. Greeting people and sharing past and present rose-experiences only enriches the total ambiance of fellowship. The time to depart sadly arrives, and one leaves realizing the hard work that has taken place to make this event such a joyful success. |
